What We Believe

The heart of the good news about Jesus is that we can start again with God.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God in it's entirety. If you want to know how to live a spiritually fulfilled life then you'll find out how to in these pages.

What's most important is that the Bible tells us about Jesus. It is only by trusting in Him that we can find forgiveness for our rebelliousness and selfishness, making peace with God, neighbours and ourselves. Jesus is made known to us today by the presence of God the Holy Spirit working actively in the life of every believer. We believe that God answers prayer and that can be truly exciting.
The church of Jesus Christ is made up of people who have put their faith in Him and so we only baptise believers. Also, we believe God speaks to all His people, so the important decisions are made by the whole membership as we listen to our Lord together.
